The man who forced the government of Iceland to resign, and removed the IMF representatives from his country, Hörður Torfason, is now teaching meta-modern democracy throughout Europe. The rest of the world would benefit from following the example set by Iceland: Arresting the corrupt bankers who are responsible for the current economic turmoil.

Obamacare to punish healthy eaters as insurance rates double or triple for those who choose to take care of their health
ccording to an analysis just published by the Wall Street Journal, healthy people will pay double or triple their current health insurance rates under Obamacare. Rates for those with chronic disease, however, will be reduced as all the healthy people subsidize their disease lifestyles.

A former Microsoft executive and his teenage son are among as many as four people presumed dead after their plane crashed into a residential neighbourhood in Connecticut.
Bill Henningsgaard and his teenage son, Maxwell, were travelling the East Coast to visit colleges, and Connecticut was part of the itinerary, said Mr Henningsgaard's brother, Blair Henningsgaard.

The State Department announced Sunday that 19 US missions in the Middle East and North Africa will remain closed until August 10 due to concern over a possible al Qaeda threat. The list includes 15 that were closed Sunday and four additional posts.
